A fan since 1980, Christina Lake is a TAFF winner, writer and con runner. She’s a brilliant writer who has won multiple Novas and FAAn awards; her writing is wonderfully effective at creating a sense of place and putting the reader in the moment. She’s also a natural collaborator who almost magically gets the best out of the people she’s working with. Not only a fan writer, she’s also run fan programmes and fanzine conventions many times over the last 30 years. And she’s a published SF author.
Meanwhile, in other spheres, in 2017 she was awarded her PhD on utopian and dystopian eugenics, and is extending her work as an academic librarian into teaching.
We’re delighted that she’ll be joining us as a guest at Follycon.
